Sandefjord secures Norwegian talent

Sandefjord has brought home Norwegian talent Daniel Skaarud from Ajax. The 18-year-old has signed a contract until 2030.

What happened?

Daniel Skaarud was sold from Lillestrøm to Ajax in 2024, but now he is back in Norwegian football. Sandefjord's sports director Matteus Bårdsen is glad to have Skaarud on board.

Why is it important for Sandefjord?

Skaarud is a player who got early playing time in the Eliteserien, and he has also played under-21 national team football. He is a midfielder, but can also play on both wings.
