On Thursday, it was confirmed that the Eliteserie club Sandefjord has loaned in Oscar Kapskarmo until the 2026 season. The player, who has been playing for Egersunds Idrettsklubb over the last two years, is still in Norway's second tier division.
Kapskarmo himself expresses his excitement to play at the highest level again. 'It’s a great opportunity to play in Eliteserien and it’s a club that is on an upward trajectory, which motivates me,' he tells Sandefjord Fotball’s own website.
Sandefjord informs its homepage that this loan comes with an option to buy permanently if Kapskarmo performs well during the upcoming season.
Kapskarmo played for Bodø/Glimt in Eliteserien from 2023 to 2024, after being brought in from IK Junkeren. He also played for Mosjøen IL until 2021.
