Sandefjord secured a crucial win against KFUM on Sunday, boosting their survival chances in Eliteserien. Hans Erik Ødegaard's team came back from 0-1 to a strong 2-1 win against KFUM. Obilor Okeke scored the first goal for KFUM, but Martin Gjone and Simon Amin secured the win for Sandefjord. Sandefjord now has 28 points with four rounds left to play. Relegation rivals Odd and Lillestrøm are among Sandefjord's opponents in the season finale. On Sunday, Obilor Okeke ensured that a reserve-heavy KFUM took the lead before the break. The goal was Okeke's first in Eliteserien after a season marked by injury. With a quarter of an hour left, Martin Gjone equalized for the hosts, shortly after Filip Ottosson had hit a free kick into the crossbar. Gjone celebrated his goal with nice acrobatics. Just before the end, Simon Amin decided the match for Sandefjord. Three minutes into the game, Obilor Denzel Okeke rushed down the right side, and in front of goal, he tried to find Mame Mor Ndiaye. The hosts' Fredrik Berglie averted the danger with a brilliant intervention. Just before ten minutes had been played, Vetle Walle Egeli tried his luck from inside the sixteen-meter area, but the visitors' last line of defense, Emil Ødegaard, boxed it away. A few minutes later, Jakob Dunsby appeared on the far post, but again, Sandefjord did not find the way to the net. Ten minutes before the break, Okeke came up with a great performance when he hammered the guests into the lead between the legs of Hugo Keto. Except for Dunsby's big chance, Sandefjord struggled to create dangers for KFUM before the break. Ten minutes into the second half, Alexander Ruud Tveter got a big chance to equalize from close range, but the veteran did not hit between the posts. Gjone did when he equalized with a quarter of an hour left. Just before the end, Amin scored to make it 2-1. Sandefjord player Filip Ottosson was critical of the team's performance in the first half but was more pleased with the second half. Sandefjord now has four rounds left and must win more games to secure survival in Eliteserien.
